Pair of Vintage German Beer Steins with Pewter Lids | Hand-Painted & Relief Stoneware | Made in Germany

A handsome pair of vintage German beer steins, both with ornate pewter lids — a wonderful addition to any bar, study, or Bavarian-themed collection.

The first stein features a striking dark navy/black glaze ground decorated with a vivid hand-painted transfer scene of Bavarian figures in traditional dress, accented with white edelweiss flowers and elegant scrollwork. The ornate pewter lid features a decorative finial and embossed detailing. Marked “Germany” on the base. A quality and eye-catching piece with genuine character.

The second stein is a classic cream and cobalt blue stoneware stein with a deeply moulded relief scene depicting Bavarian tavern life — figures drinking, playing music, and socialising in a traditional inn setting. A figural handle and ornate pewter lid with decorative thumb lift complete the piece. Marked on base.

Both steins are sold together as a pair and make a striking display set.
