A stunning vintage Chinese red lacquer jewellery box, richly appointed with carved jade or hardstone medallions set into the lid, ornate brass corner fittings, and an elaborate engraved brass clasp. The interior is lined in vibrant red silk brocade with floral detailing, featuring fitted ring rolls on either side and a central compartment — beautifully preserved and ready to use.

The lid is decorated with three carved pale green hardstone medallions depicting floral motifs, connected by interlocking brass knot fittings — a design rich in traditional Chinese symbolism representing good fortune and longevity. The exterior is finished in a deep ox-blood red lacquer over wood, with decorative brass hardware at all four corners.
